Mr. Irakli Karseladze, Georgian Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure accompanied by Messrs. David Songulashvili, MP and Murat Avci, Director General of Maqro Construction LLC visited the construction site of the road by-passing the town of Sagarejo, a part of the Kakheti highway. The construction works are reported to be going on rapidly.

The consortium of “MAQRO Construction” and “Gocay Insaat Taahhut ve Ticart” is to build a new 4-lane expressway on the 7.66 km long section of the Sagarejo bypass road.

“Maqro Construction” LTD have finished construction of a large-scale, modern residential complex for 600 internally displaced families in the town of Zugdidi, upon request from the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.  

In early 2022, a new 5-star Swissotel Tbilisi Center Hotel will be opening in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. It is a joint Maqro Group and Accor Group international network project. The opening is scheduled for I quarter 2022. Among the 140 various category rooms of Swissotel Tbilisi Center, there are the ones such as Swiss Business Advantage, Swiss Vitality, Deluxe King and Suite.

Another project in the town of Zugdidi: as a result of a tender arranged by the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, “Maqro Construction” was awarded a contract for building new synthetic football grounds Stadium in #5 Janashia St. after rehabilitation of the one in place.
