MAQRO Construction is the driving force of MAQRO Group as the Group realizes construction is one of the creative industries which plays a very big role in creating a quality built environment and quality of life for the public. The future of the construction industry looks promising worldwide, as it has a very big potential to be developed as a major contributor to the economy. Growth in many economic sectors will generate spillover benefits to the construction sector globally, but the competition will become keener. Being aware of the fact that competition brings about more business opportunities, we plan to expand our operations, look beyond one market and view the global market as our horizon.

History

MAQRO Group started investing in Georgia’s market from 2013 and within the 5 years implemented various successful project in different fields. The main factors that determine MAQRO Group’s success from the establishment are: contribution to the country’s economic development, strive to improve the quality of living and working conditions.

Over the 5 years of its operation the group has proven that its efforts are a success while pursuing the mentioned goal, although it is not going to suffice itself with the achievements – the history of MAQRO Group is continuing and the company is planning to implement many more significant and interesting projects.

MAQRO Group is continuing its operation on the Georgian market in an active and intensive mode, striving in all the four direction selected by it, making its best daily efforts toward further improvement of its quality and conduction of a customer - oriented business.

The company is reviewing options for broadening the range of its trends for the future, although the goal set by MAQRO Group remains the same – to be a company which is oriented toward its customers and employees and be bound by high social responsibility at the same time.  

2013.

The first investment project implemented by MAQRO Group in Georgia was the furniture factory Glorya – the sub brand MAQRO Home - opened in Adjara region in 2013. The total investment made by the company was 15 million USD.

2013.

The first MAQRO Home furniture store under brand Bellissa was opened offering its customers the furniture manufactured by Glorya Furniture and other furniture brands. The total investment was 10 million USD.

2014.

MAQRO Group entered in a real estate market as a MAQRO Construction and started development one of the biggest residential project with 48 million USD investment - Green Budapest in the center of Tbilisi.

2015.

MAQRO Group’s another important step in Georgia was entering tourism sector by creating a new sub-brand MAQRO Tourism and opened a new 4-star hotel operated by an international brand ACCOR - Mercure Tbilisi Old Town with 40 million USD investment.

2016.

MAQRO Group completed the project Green Budapest, establishing a new standard on the Georgian market which is entirely customized to resident’s comfort and satisfaction.

2016.

MAQRO Group launched the large scale residential project Green Diamond with the unique infrastructure and facilities. Total investment for the project is more than USD 120 million.

2016.

The next important step by MAQRO Group was entering the new, Food and Beverage sector with the sub brand MAQRO Food, under which an European standard restaurant Dinehall was opened on Rustaveli street with 8 milllion USD investment.

2017.

MAQRO Tourism opened one more international brand hotel – Ibis Styles City Center managed by Accor Group with 28 milllion USD investment.

2017.

MAQRO Home brought new, international home accessories and household goods brand Madame Coco into the Georgian market. Two stores of Madame COCO in Tbilisi were opened with 2 million USD investment.

2018.

Green Diamond welcomed its first residents by opening the first stage earlier then the promised date. 731 units and all the infrastructure are ready to start a new life.

2019.

Maqro Group succeded in a tender posted by Municipal Development Foundation and started a paired 3 apartment building project for refugees in zugdidi.

2019.

Maqro Tourism started construction process of one more international 4 star brand hotel Novotel managed by Accor Group with 30 million USD investment

Once again Maqro Group succeded in a tender posted by Municipal Development Foundation and started a paired 2 apartment building project for refugees in zugdidi.

Brand Philosophy

MAQRO group’s logo is coming from Latin alphabet letter Q, the circle shaped with golden gradient. Overally Latin alphabet letter Q is created by three different size’s circle, that is ellipsis and pictorial image of thinking.

While the creation of a MAQRO Group logo, the circle is not randomly selected. The circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning. It represents the notions of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, God, Sun, the perpetual motion of everything that moves, the great rhythm of the universe, endless development…

Stylized Latin Alphabet Letter Q, made from three circles It is also a pictographic image depicting human thinking process, which directly responds to the MAQRO Group slogan - Thinking of People.

The color of the MAQRO Group logo is taken from the golden gradient, which encompasses success, wealth, well-being, love and wisdom. The philosophy of the MAQRO Group and the companies and queuing activities involved in it is based on the importance of these symbols.

The logo of MAQRO Construction is derived from the Latin alphabet Q letter, a stylized version of green leaf and green gradient.

We have already spoken about the meaning of the circle. As for the green leaf, it is used as a symbol of renewal, revival and hope in different cultures. The green leaf is the symbol of life, health, novelty, birth and growth.

As for the green color it is a symbol of peace, safety, energy, healthy environment and stability as well.
That is why MAQRO Construction offers to its customers a green standard of life and it is not just the words, the company proves it within the implemented projects.

The logo of MAQRO Tourism is derived from the Latin alphabetical letter-sound Q, a stylized version of the compass pointing angle with the blue gradient.

The compass marking arrow is one of the oldest symbols and is often used in different meanings, but its main essence remains unchanged and it's the right direction, a guide, salvation and protection, luck and inspiration.

The blue color is evenly equal to the heavens and the sea (ocean, river, lake ...) and directly connected with spaces, freedom and intuition, imagination and inspiration. In a word, it can be traveler’s color.

MAQRO Tourism, like its logotype, will be your guide, adviser of right direction and rescue new discoveries and travels.

As for the lilac (purus), embodies the nobility, luxury, ambition and ambitiousness. The purple color is also a symbol of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, loyalty and peace.

Everything in this unity is created by MAQRO Home, which aims to create a quiet and cozy atmosphere for the people in the family, where the home is the place where you feel good - home is where it feels good...

The Maqro Food's logo is a stylized version of the Latin alphabetical letter Q, where the knee is created with a knife and spoon and all depicts the red gradient.

Cutlery is the international symbol of food places.  As for the color that is determined in the gradient, the logo represents the ecstricity, the thirst for freedom, love, passion, desire, energy, strength and self-confidence. The unity of these qualities is MAQRO Food and we know that good food is one of the main human rights.
